A warehousing, storage and office space provider is expanding to the East Coast with a newly signed, 82,200-square-foot industrial lease announced by Colliers International.
The real estate services firm on Tuesday said it represented CustomSpace in the commitment at 7001 Anpesil Drive in North Bergen. The transaction with Pelvil Realty LLP, the property’s owner, paves the way for CustomSpace to enter the New Jersey and New York City markets and provide services such as flexible leases, fast move-in and custom unit sizes.
Colliers’ Senior Vice President Mike Davis, who is based in Redwood City, California, joined Senior Managing Director Richard M. Warshauer from the firm’s New York City office and his New Jersey colleagues in representing CustomSpace. William Connors from the William F. Connors Agency represented the landlord.
“We examined the accessibility to CustomSpace’s potential customer market, along with the availability of space, to identify the best location,” Warshauer said. “Within those parameters, we quickly identified 7001 Anpesil Drive in North Bergen as a property that offered all the attributes that CustomSpace was seeking.”
CustomSpace provides full-service warehousing, storage and office space to businesses and individuals looking for 250 to 10,000 square feet, Colliers said in a news release. The company has existing locations in metro areas including Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle and Houston and was seeking central access to New York and New Jersey at a competitive price.
Its offerings also include amenities and services from forklifts to package handling.
“Working together, we were able to understand the client’s needs and analyze the market to create a solution that provides efficiency and cost savings while positioning this valued client for continued growth,” said Dennis Waggner, an executive managing director and the New Jersey market leader for Colliers.
