Denholtz Properties has secured a lease extension at a renovated office building in Bernardsville, inking a new commitment from a boutique medical communications firm.
The tenant, Decile.Ten Communications, occupies 8,474 square feet at 150 Morristown Road. Its extension at the two-story, 54,599-square-foot building off Route 202 follows Denholtz’s recent half-million-dollar improvement aimed at creating modern and flexible office space.
David Zimmel of Zimmel Associates represented Denholtz, while JLL’s Charlie Dillon represented the tenant.
“We continually strive to create office buildings that companies, large and small, in a diverse variety of markets can be proud to call home,” said Kristine B. Hurlbut, senior vice president of leasing at Denholtz Properties. “The physical location, although vitally important, is just one part of accomplishing that strategy as we also place a tremendous emphasis on superior tenant service and ongoing capital investments to ensure our spaces are among the finest in their local markets.
“This latest extension speaks to the success of that strategy at 150 Morristown and our continued ability to drive strong multitenant leasing activity at the building.”
Upgrades at the building include the addition of a media wall to the lobby, along with new healthy vending options, lighting and contemporary furniture and fixtures, Denholtz said. The firm has also upgraded the building systems and added a new café and lounge seating area.
Decile.Ten Communications benefits from the building’s proximity to several leading New Jersey pharmaceutical companies. The building is also minutes from downtown Bernardsville and six miles from downtown Morristown, with easy access to routes 202, 24 and 206, along with interstates 78 and 80.
