An engineering and consulting firm has renewed its nearly 14,500-square-foot lease at a Hamilton commercial complex, under a newly completed transaction by Denholtz Associates.
The development, investment and management firm, which owns the Horizon Center complex, on Thursday announced the new commitment by APTIM Facilities Inc. The tenant occupies 14,464 square feet at 500 Horizon Drive, providing it with easy access to major highways such as the New Jersey Turnpike, nearby retail amenities and Princeton.
Robert Loderstedt and Stephen Tolkach of Newmark Real Estate of Princeton LLC represented Denholtz, while Adam Englander of CBRE represented APTIM Facilities in the transaction.
The renewal by The Woodlands, Texas-based firm — whose offerings include engineering, program management, environmental services and disaster recovery — maintains a location that it uses for its facilities management division for power-generating stations, refineries military bases and disaster-recovery zones. It is also the latest transaction for Denholtz since it acquired the five-building, 236,284-square-foot Horizon Center portfolio from Mack-Cali last year.
“Our acquisition of Horizon Center was motivated by the simple fact that although every business differs, their need for well-located spaces remains the same,” said Kristine B. Hurlbut, senior vice president of leasing at Denholtz. “Our latest renewal with APTIM highlights the continued high demand for space at the Horizon Center and our consistent ability to retain tenants across our portfolio in a wide range of asset types.”
