The developers of a new 99-unit luxury apartment building in Jersey City are touting a leasing milestone and the debut of the property’s indoor amenity spaces.
In a news release this week, Fields Grade and Park Stone Management said the project known as Le Léo is now more than 50 percent rented, following the launch of leasing in early October. They added that current and future residents of the property — at 244 St. Pauls Ave. in the historic Journal Square neighborhood — now have access to a high-end fitness center and yoga studio, a resident lounge, co-working space with a conference room and a game room with flat screen televisions, a foosball table, a shuffleboard table, a poker table and a lounge area.
Additionally, a Choc-O-Pain French Bakery + Café has opened at the base of the six-story building. Residents can access the eatery from the lobby lounge.
“We’re excited to fully unveil Le Léo’s amenity spaces which are designed to foster community and encourage socialization among residents while also providing areas for remote working,” said Robert Caulfield, a Fields Grade principal. “Incorporating Choc-O-Pain into the lobby enhances the resident experience and creates a connection to the neighborhood.”
Le Léo also has an outdoor rooftop terrace with private dining areas and grills, sun loungers, a misting station and firepits with lounge seating, the news release said. Other offerings include an outdoor dog run, resident storage, bike storage and enclosed garage parking.
Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects, Le Léo is a short walk from the Journal Square PATH Station and centrally located in a culturally rich, well-connected neighborhood. Occupancy is underway as its developers continue to market the collection of one- and two-bedroom homes alongside The Marketing Directors, with monthly rents starting in the $2,400s with grand opening incentives that include one month free.
“Le Léo is quickly resonating with residents who are looking for a more boutique lifestyle experience in a full-service building with great access to this vibrant neighborhood,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors. “For them, Le Léo checks all the boxes.”
