A development team has unveiled its next phase of luxury apartments in Union Township, where plans call for another 263 units after the project’s initial debut in 2018.
The partners, Diversified Properties LLC and Fidelco Realty Group, are hoping for continued success at Summit Court after a quick lease-up of the site’s first 130 units. The newest phase has brought additional one- and two-bedrooms homes to the project at 1720 Patriot Way, with rents starting from $2,320 with incentives that include up to two months of free rent.
The upscale property also includes a series of high-end amenities anchored by a clubhouse, as well as on-site parking with electric charging stations and available private garages.
“We are excited to bring a new phase of luxury residences, spectacular amenities and contemporary features to Union,” said Nicholas W. Minoia, managing partner of Montville-based Diversified Properties. “These rentals will help meet the extraordinary demand for housing in Union County.”
Apartments at Summit Court have upscale finishes and appliances, with smart lock entry and some units offering private outdoor space, according to a news release. Amenities include an outdoor pool and sundeck, courtyards, grilling and dining areas and firepits with lounge seating, along with a catering kitchen, a game room and a fitness center inside the property’s clubhouse.
Additional features include package lockers and resident and bike storage.
“The luxury residences at Summit Court are designed for today’s renter,” said Matt Kaplan, executive vice president of Fidelco, which is based in Millburn. “Enjoy upscale living with premier on-site amenities just outside Manhattan.”
Renters, meantime, are a mile from the Union train station and minutes from the Garden State Parkway, Interstate 78 and Route 22. Also nearby is Kean University, along with a host of dining, shopping and entertainment options.
“Residences are equipped with a video intercom and a state-of-the-art keyless entry system, and packages can be picked up at our smart lockers,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors. “Residents can even submit payments and maintenance requests from the comfort of home.”
