Diversified Properties, a Montville-based commercial and residential real estate developer, has named Greg Adami as its chief financial officer and chief operations officer.

In a news release, Diversified said Adami joins its team from a multibillion-dollar, family-owned real estate firm based in Manhattan, where he served as director of operations and advised ownership, senior management and stakeholders on policies, procedures and processes. He also played a critical role in the company’s operations, development, finance, marketing and leasing teams.
“Greg brings strategic mindset and a demonstrated track record of success to this dual position,” said Nicholas Minoia, Diversified’s founding and managing partner. “We welcome him to the team as we know he will be a tremendous asset in assisting with the management of the firm’s continued growth and helping us seamlessly execute our investment strategy in the years to come.”
Adami brings more than two decades of experience, the firm said. Prior to his role in Manhattan, he served as a supervising consultant for Grant Thornton Management Consulting.
He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Georgetown University and an MBA in management from New York University’s Stern Graduate School of Business.
“In the commercial real estate industry, Diversified Properties stands alone in its ability to execute the most complex and challenging real estate projects,” Adami said. “I look forward to working closely with its leadership team to build upon this reputation and drive operational excellence to ensure the firm’s continued ability to capitalize on opportunities in an increasingly complex and competitive real estate market.”
