A significant and growing client base includes major alternative energy projects including solar, wind farms and supporting infrastructure. We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have forged while earning the trust of our clients over many years of their business.
OUR ADVANTAGE
Dynamic’s unique structure has developed a single firm with four distinct entities that individually specialize in site civil engineering; environmental/geotechnical consulting; traffic and survey services. Each firm is in its own right a leader in its respective field. Collectively, we provide a single source for true land development consulting with common core values of innovation; value; responsiveness and accountability. We are driven to exceed the expectations of our clients.
As the geotechnical and environmental arm, Dynamic Earth is differentiated by the level of in-house design and construction phase support we offer. We don’t just offer advice and recommendations, we design and implement solutions and consider ourselves accountable to the project’s overall success. We understand that an environmental or geotechnical challenge is not to make it a science project but a land development opportunity. Our goal is to get projects out of the ground as efficiently as possible. We have the track record and significant experience to do so.
ON THE HORIZON
The industrial sector has ramped up exponentially to meet the changing consumer demands of our world. We expect this trend to continue and drive immediate continued growth. We also see medical/assisted living as large future growth sectors. These expansions often require considering sites that have significant environmental and geotechnical challenges in urban settings. Dynamic Earth’s ability to complete site remediation in concert with aggressive ground improvement techniques has opened up significant growth in areas that previously were not considered favorable for redevelopment. The further integration of geosciences from early planning through construction is creating tremendous growth opportunities simply because a level of expertise and holistic project approach is now required more than ever to have a successful redevelopment.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
The Dynamic companies recently completed engineering and final construction observation services for a signature high-rise redevelopment project, 50 Rector Park, in Newark, NJ. The development project is notable for its nickname, “Shaq Tower,” dubbed such because one of the prominent investors was Shaquille O’Neal. The site was occupied by a long-abandoned building that had once been the Ballantine Brewery, and more recently had been a school before falling into disrepair. The redevelopment included a 22-story modern residential tower around the corner from NJPAC and Military Park.
Dynamic Earth played a prominent role in performing the environmental and geotechnical investigations for the project and worked closely with our site civil, survey and traffic colleagues to address the multiple design challenges of this urban redevelopment. Special inspections, from foundations through structural steel, were also performed to help bring the project to completion. The project represents a model of urban revitalization and redevelopment.
