A logistics firm has leased more than 80,000 square feet at a newly built warehouse in Edison, developer Wick Cos. LLC announced Tuesday.
The tenant, North American Logistics Group LLC, is relocating and expanding as part of the move to the complex at 74 Carter Drive. Its new home provides it with a location less than five minutes from Interstate 287 and quick access to the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 1.
Wick Cos. President Robert G. Paulus said the space is part of a three-building complex at Edison Commerce Center. The firm now plans to start construction of a 100,250-square-foot building, with completion scheduled for the third quarter, followed by a 62,250-square-foot building.
The new 80,250-square-foot space for North American Logistics Group has 32-foot clear ceiling heights, LED lights, modern sprinklers and 14 loading docks. According to Wick Cos., the firm is a last-mile logistics company servicing the United States and Canada.
The firm will join other tenants at Edison Commerce Center, including Cambria Truck Center, Rebounderz of Edison and BCB Community Bank.
