TD Bank Park in Bridgewater

The family of Jared Forma, a New Jersey native and longtime minor league baseball executive who died earlier this year, is honoring his memory with a plan to share the game he loved.
It’s doing so with the help of the Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees’ Double A affiliate, having secured a suite at TD Bank Park in Bridgewater for a portion of the upcoming season that it will donate to charities, schools or youth teams and leagues to host those who normally would not have the opportunity to attend a game. Known as Jared’s Suite, the space could also be used as an auction item to help raise money, helping Forma’s family honor him in a way that would add to his legacy and share his passion for the game.
“It’s not just about keeping his memory alive,” said Noel Forma, Jared’s brother. “We wanted to expand on his love of baseball and share that joy with others.”
Jared Forma, the cousin of longtime New Jersey commercial real estate broker Jeremy Neuer, grew up in East Brunswick and spent most of his career in minor league baseball, according to his family. That began after college with an entry-level position in ticket sales, which led to stints as the general manager of several teams, including minor league affiliates of the Tampa Bay Rays and Miami Marlins during a career spanning more than 20 years.
As the family noted, Forma loved bringing people to the ballpark to share his love of baseball and giving them a great, fan-friendly experience. Partnering with the Somerset Patriots was a natural fit, they said, because of its proximity to his hometown in Central Jersey.
“The Patriots ownership and staff have a long history of philanthropy, and we are happy to be partnering with them,” said Michael Forma, Jared’s father. “The Kalafer family and their front office team extended themselves to our family when Jared passed away and this gives us an opportunity to repay the favor.”
The suite, which is available for 18 games in the 2025 season, holds 30 people.
“We wanted to start small and see what kind of response we receive,” said Peggy Forma, Jared’s mother. “If we get a great response, we can do it again next year and possibly expand the number of games by taking in donations from Jared’s family and friends.”
Neuer, a prominent investment sales broker with JLL, is leading the family’s effort to administer the suite. Those interested should email [email protected] with details on the organization and its proposed use of the space.
“We really hope that this brings a lot of smiles to a lot of faces in the coming season and beyond,” said Neuer, a senior managing director with JLL’s Morristown-based capital markets team.
