At-home care provider Comfort Keepers has acquired a 7,500-square-foot mixed-use building in Hamilton for $1 million, brokers with Fennelly Associates announced Wednesday.
According to the team, the property at 2670 Nottingham Way has office, retail and warehouse space and boasts a location near Interstate 295. It’s now set to become one of Comfort Keepers’ more than 700 independently owned and operated locations worldwide, where it will provide services for seniors and adults in need of personalized assistance that will enable them to continue to live independently at home.
Fennelly Associates President Jerry Fennelly and the firm’s Patrick Dintrone represented the undisclosed seller. They noted that the property has 23 on-site surface parking spaces, prominent signage, a bus stop located in front of the building, a drive-in door, 12-foot clear ceiling heights in the office and retail portion and a 12-foot, seven-inch ceiling in the warehouse space.
“The central New Jersey market continues to see increasing demand from users across the health care and human services industries,” Fennelly said. “We are happy to have connected our client with a buyer who will make a positive impact on the lives of residents in Hamilton and surrounding communities, and we wish Comfort Keepers all the best with their new location.”
