Renters are flocking to a new apartment building in Jersey City’s Paulus Hook neighborhood, where Fields Development Group has leased nearly 70 percent of its 153 units.
The builder announced recently that Quinn, located at 197 Van Vorst St., had reached the benchmark after opening a little more than three months ago. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve, the 16-story building is among the latest residential projects in Jersey City to experience robust leasing velocity, despite a host of recent deliveries and a large development pipeline in the city.
Quinn also features more than 7,300 square feet of ground-floor retail space in addition to its high-end studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. It is the sister building of Lenox, an adjacent 255-unit property the opened late last year.
“We are very pleased with the incredibly positive response we’ve received to Quinn since the launch of leasing,” said James Caulfield, co-founder and partner of Fields Development Group. “After the success of Lenox, we weren’t surprised that people also love Quinn and its location in the most desirable neighborhood in Jersey City.”
Amenities at Quinn include a landscaped roof deck with pool, lounge and barbeque areas, Amazon package lockers, transit and package notification screens and a fitness center, according to a news release. Fields also highlighted features such as a library, media room and solarium.
