A medical communications firm has acquired an office building in Upper Saddle River that will serve as its new corporate headquarters, according to NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm said it represented the seller, Rodico Inc., in the transaction at 98 Pleasant Ave. The buyer of the 14,730-square-foot office building was Health and Wellness Partners LLC, which is relocating from Ramsey after a two-year search.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
NAI Hanson’s team of Kenneth Lundberg, Ronald Fotiu and Patrick Lennon handled the assignment for the Hackensack-based firm, according to a news release. Health and Wellness Partners was represented by Christopher Olsen of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
“We are continuing to see companies invest in owning the buildings they work out of and we are finding continued success in relocating growing firms in order to allow them to occupy the types of assets that will allow them to grow,” Lundberg said in a prepared statement. “The size and location of our client’s property was perfect for Health and Wellness Partners and the unique atmosphere of the building as well as the ample available parking were big selling points as well.”
Originally developed by Rodico, the one-story property sits on 2.31 acres and built for the Young Women’s Christian Association, the news release said. Its newest tenant, Health and Wellness Partners, is a global medical communications company.
The property sits directly off Route 17 and is located between the Garden State Parkway, I-287 as well as Routes 202 and 208.
