A national flooring retailer has taken nearly 100,000 square feet at the site of a former Kmart store in Toms River, in a newly announced lease by Jeffery Realty.
Shane Wierks, a broker with the North Plainfield-based firm, represented an affiliate of Northeast Capital Group in the lease at 273 Route 37. Floor & Decor is backfilling the 96,000-square-foot space, which had been vacant for a year, and is slated to open in early 2020.
Brian Katz of Katz & Associates represented the tenant. Wierks, meantime, noted that the complex’s New York-based owner acquired the property only a week before signing the lease.
