A multinational footwear and apparel company has signed a long-term lease for some 14,000 square feet at a Rochelle Park office building, in a newly announced deal by JLL.
The SG Cos., which manufactures lifestyle brands such as Harley Davidson, Dockers and IZOD, will move to 216 Route 17 North from its current location in Hackensack. The new space at the three-story, 82,222-square-foot property will support a growing company that now has more than 150 associates across five different locations.
JLL Vice President Mike Pietrowicz represented ownership in the lease, while Executive Managing Director Frank D. Recine and Vice President Colleen Maguire represented the tenant.
“We’re thrilled to announce our relocation to premier new offices as a key step in our continued effort to support our brands and meet growing demand from consumers,” said Matt Feiner, CEO and president of The SG Cos.
In a news release, JLL noted that SG’s portfolio also includes its own outdoor brand, Rugged Shark. In Rochelle Park, it joins a building that is owned and occupied by Park Avenue BMW, which operates its headquarters and showroom on the second floor, with the top two floors consisting of multitenant office space.
“Park Avenue BMW has been a tremendous steward of this distinct property, and it will be a great new home for SG Companies,” Recine said. “The building provides modern office space, structured parking and proximity to Route 17 for a convenient commute and easy access to nearby shops, restaurants and entertainment.”
