A corner retail property near the George Washington Bridge has changed hands among private investors, following a nearly $4.6 million sale arranged by Marcus & Millichap.
Brokers with the firm’s Saddle Brook office represented both parties in the sale of 201 Main St., a 9,500-square-foot property in Fort Lee. Brian C. Hosey, regional manager of the New Jersey office, said the property is directly over the bridge at the corner of Lemoine Avenue.
Investment specialists Greg Babaian, Michael Lombardi and Steven Schiavello had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, while also securing and representing the buyer.
“The interest in this property was tremendous and it is located directly across the street from one of New Jersey’s newest and biggest brand new developments, Hudson Lights,” said Babaian, a Bergen County investment specialist. “The new development has positioned itself for a luxury work/live type of neighborhood atmosphere with all the amenities working professionals look for.”
