A construction industry veteran has joined Gilbane Building Co., bringing more than 25 years of experience to the firm’s growing team in New Jersey.
The firm this week announced the hiring of Anthony Giuliano as senior project executive. He will be based in the firm’s New Brunswick office, having executed more than $1.5 billion of work in the life sciences, health care and midrise sectors.
Giuliano has held previous positions as senior executive and area manager for national firms throughout his career, according to a news release. His previous experience will support Gilbane’s growth in New Jersey and in the life science market.
“Anthony is a fantastic new addition to the New Jersey team,” said Dan Shea, vice president at Gilbane. “He brings strong technical expertise, a proactive leadership approach and a focus on collaborative partnerships to ensure client satisfaction through seamless project delivery.”
Giuliano earned a degree in architecture from the New York Institute of Technology, as well as an associate’s degree in applied sciences in electrical engineering from Hofstra University.
Gilbane currently has more than $700 million worth of work in the New Jersey marketplace, the news release said. The New Jersey office is part of the firm’s New York division, which also comprises New York City and Upstate New York and consists of almost 500 employees with a combined work value of nearly $4 billion.
