An executive at Greek Development has been promoted to president of development and construction, the East Brunswick-based industrial builder said this week.
In the new role, Matt Schlindwein will have primary responsibility for the company’s development and construction activities, expanding upon his previous position of vice of president of development. The promotion comes as Greek Development has expanded its third-party construction operations and grows its business as a general contractor.
“Since joining the company in 2008, Matt has been instrumental in development and delivering projects for some of the region’s leading companies,” the firm wrote in an announcement. “Along with Matt’s leadership, Greek Development has grown its team of highly skilled professionals with strong expertise in design and construction of Class A warehouse facilities, renovations and redevelopment projects.”
Prior to joining Greek Development, Schlindwein oversaw projects for one of the nation’s largest design-build developers, completing the development and construction of several industrial and office parks throughout New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. He earned a degree in civil engineering from The Catholic University of America.
