An area landlord has sold a nearly 19,000-square-foot strip center in Pompton Plains, under a newly announced transaction by The Goldstein Group.
Brokers with the firm represented Scott Center LLC in its disposition of 439-455 Route 23 South, the site of what’s known as Scott Center. Forlenza Partnership acquired the 18,900-square-foot property near the intersection of Jackson Avenue, which is home to tenants including Universal Sports, KC Bagel, Gate House Galleries, Deals All Year and State Farm Insurance.
The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein and Vice President CJ Huter brokered the sale, while also representing the seller. Terms were not disclosed.
“We have seen an uptick in desirable retail properties selling this past year,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group. “Owners are looking to sell their valuable retail properties to entrepreneurial buyers who are taking advantage of favorable selling prices and very low mortgage rates.”
