GTL Construction has kicked off a project that will revamp key customer and back-of-house spaces at a Gary’s Wine & Marketplace location in Bernardsville.
The firm said it was partnering with Guzzo Architects in the renovation at 100 Morristown Road, which will unfold in two phases. The first stage, now underway, focuses on the relocation and installation of beer coolers, ensuring better accessibility and convenience for patrons.
The second phase is slated to begin in mid-September and will bring back-of-house improvements such as the addition of a stylish mezzanine to increase storage capacity for Gary’s vast selection of beverages, according to a news release. That will include high-end office spaces and an overhaul of the rear half of the building with modern finishes to create a more inviting environment.
GTL expects to complete overall construction by late fall of this year.
“Our goal is to ensure that Gary’s Wine & Marketplace remains the premier destination for wine and spirits connoisseurs,” said Pietro Barberi, a vice president with GTL Construction. “These renovations are not just about enhancing the aesthetic appeal but also about creating a more efficient and welcoming space that reflects the high standards of Gary’s brand.”
