Three new tenants are joining a Union City medical office building, following a series of transactions brokered by Weiss Realty.
The four-story building known as Kennedy Medical Center sits at 3196 Kennedy Blvd. and is located just off Route 3. According to Weiss, the new tenants include:
- Raashan Carlos Williams, a cardiovascular disease specialist, who leased 1,960 square feet on the third floor
- Stefano Stella, an OB-GYN who has expanded his Kennedy Medical Center practice and is relocating from 1,535 square feet on the second floor to 3,241 square feet on the third floor
- North Bergen Pediatrics, which leased 1,460 square feet for a 10-year term
The new tenants join a roster that includes Bayada Nurses Inc., Progressive Pediatrics, Cardio-Med Services and Health Check Eye Center.
“We are very pleased with the signing of these medical/office tenants to long term lease commitments” said Matthew Weiss, vice president at Moonachie-based Weiss Realty. “Our signing of these leases further confirms that Kennedy Medical Center is an attractive, premier medical office building providing quality medical office space in a highly desirable location in Union City. There’s great visibility and the building is at the crossroads of Hudson County.”
Kennedy Medical Center, which is zoned for most medical uses, includes treatment rooms with spacious waiting areas for patients and family members, ADA accessibility and ample on-site parking with easy accessibility to public transportation, Weiss said in a news release. There is also a stretcher-capable elevator in the building and 24-hour access.
“Many specialties — cardiology, ENT gastroenterology and emergency care centers — would not only be a good fit here, but would also quickly develop a large patient base,” said Jaime Weiss, founder of Weiss Realty. “The population within a 3 mile radius exceeds 525,000.”
