NAI James E. Hanson has continued its recent expansion with the hiring of a new vice president.

The real estate services firm announced Tuesday that Dick Hecker has joined its headquarters office in Hackensack. In the new role, he will work closely with the NAI Hanson sales and leasing teams on leasing, investment, asset management, development, finance and business development initiatives.
Hecker brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, the firm said in a news release. He previously served as managing director at Colliers International and as senior director of acquisitions and originations for Palisades Financial LLC, where he was responsible for seeking and evaluating loan originations ranging from $2 million to $50 million, including first mortgages, bridge financing and mezzanine debt.
The industry veteran has also been deeply involved in commercial real estate acquisitions, from identification of development sites through due diligence, pricing, transaction structure and closing, NAI Hanson said, touting Hecker’s deep experience in all facets of the industry.
“At NAI Hanson, our ability to excel in a hyper-competitive and crowded commercial real estate marketplace relies upon our ability to attract top real estate professionals to our team and deliver industry-leading service to each of our clients,” said William C. Hanson, the firm’s president. “We are excited to welcome Dick as the newest addition to our industry-leading team and look forward to leveraging his experience on behalf of our clients and as a resource in expanding our areas of service.”
