Drew University has sold 28 units at a Madison condominium property, in a newly announced deal by Cushman & Wakefield.
The real estate services firm represented the school in the transaction at 34 Loantaka Way, the site of the Copper Beech Condominiums. CB Condo Holdings LLC purchased the units for an undisclosed price, C&W said, noting that homes at the property are now available for sale to the public as a result of a recent zoning change by the borough.
“The uniqueness of the Copper Beech asset in the highly sought-after Madison market, coupled with the opportunity for an investor to add real value, made this a very compelling acquisition for CB Condo Holdings LLC,” C&W’s Andy Schwartz said.
The C&W team included Andy Merin, Brian Whitmer, David Lebenstein, Schwartz, Jordan Sobel and Andre Balthazard. They noted that the Copper Beech Condominiums complex, which was built in 1990, spans 46 units and is located three minutes from downtown Madison.
The 28 sold units consist of 27 two-bedroom units and one three-bedroom unit.
