A wood-fired pizza and Italian restaurant is coming to a Hamilton shopping center, under a newly announced transaction by Levin Management Corp.
The operator, A Slice of Brooklyn, is taking 2,400 square feet at the complex known as Hamilton Plaza. The eatery joins a host of other tenants at the 175,500-square-foot property, which sits at the busy intersection of Route 33 and Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Road, including ShopRite and a host of shops and other restaurants.
Levin Management Corp., which leases and manages the property, noted that A Slice of Brooklyn’s operator is an experienced restauranteur who also owns Marcello’s, a popular full-service Italian restaurant in nearby Bordentown.
“This ownership has experienced tremendous success at Marcello’s and will bring that same standard of authentic Italian food and specialty pizza to A Slice of Brooklyn at Hamilton Plaza,” said LMC Senior Leasing Representative Sidney Singer, who arranged the lease. “It will be a great new addition at a time when good things are happening at this community shopping and dining destination.”
Other recent activity at Hamilton Plaza includes an expansion of the existing Hallmark store. The business is relocating and expanding within the shopping center after Norman’s Hallmark, the largest independent Hallmark Crown chain in the United States, recently purchased the Hamilton Plaza operation committed a new 7,100-square-foot store.
Co-tenants at Hamilton Plaza include A.C. Moore, Petco, Dollar Tree, T-Mobile, Mattress Firm, Texas Roadhouse and several others, LMC said. The center serves a residential population of more than 180,000 people within a five-mile radius.
