J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc. has completed the sale of a built-to-suit, 187,500-square-foot industrial building in Branchburg to a hospitality and food-service products company.
The property, 140 Meister Ave., will provide distribution and office space for Lollicup USA Inc. after its recent completion by the Asbury-based developer and builder. The facility is just south of Route 22, providing access to area highways along with features such as 31 loading docks, two drive-in doors, 36-foot clear ceiling heights and ample trailer and vehicle parking.
“It’s the newest and largest industrial building in the town, and we have already started shipping from this location,” Lollicup CEO Alan Yu said. “Lollicup is proud to have added over 100 new hires nationwide since June 15, as we are an essential company.”
Joel Lubin and Brian Golden of JLL represented Petrucci in the transaction. CBRE’s Mindy Lissner and David Gheriani represented Lollicup, which manufactures and distributes hospitality and food-service products.
Terms were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to have assisted Lollicup with their expansion to this well-located Class A building,” said Gheriani, a first vice president with CBRE. “This is a prime example of a company that is growing due to today’s conditions, and we are proud to have assisted them in this development project.”
Cerminara Architect designed the facility, which sits on 18.4 acres and was built by Petrucci’s in-house construction firm, Iron Hill Construction Management Co.
