Tax service provider Jackson Hewitt has leased space at the site of a 113-unit luxury apartment property in Linden, in a deal arranged by Lee & Associates New Jersey.
In a news release, the brokerage team said the business is taking 1,200 square feet of retail space at what’s known as Citivillage. The storefront at 1140 East St. Georges Ave. will be Jackson Hewitt’s second in the Linden area, with a location near several major thoroughfares, an on-site bus stop and new eateries in neighboring spaces.
Kyle Janoczkin, an associate at Lee & Associates New Jersey, represented the tenant. Sheneeza Ali, a vice president with the firm, represented the landlord, Citivillage by Ramani Group.
“I am happy to bring another tenant to the growing roster at Citivillage, with the macro scaled vision Mr. Ramani and my colleague, Sheneeza, have put together,” Janoczkin said. “I believe this location will be perfect for an established Jackson Hewitt location, who will serve the locals as well as provide a strong retail presence for this new property.”
Lee & Associates announced the deal Thursday, noting that Citivillage is a new community with a dog run, a large promenade and other upscale features. The site is minutes from mass transit and multiple highways.
