A new indoor pickleball venue is set to open at the Bell Works campus in Holmdel, adding to the long list of features at the 2 million-square-foot office, retail and community destination.
Inspired by Somerset Development, which owns the building at 101 Crawfords Corner Road, said the 13,800-square-foot Jersey Pickleball Club will open Nov. 1 with five regulation-sized courts on the lower level. Features will include specialty Cushion X courts with the same official surface used by the Professional Pickleball Association, the firm said, noting that each court is individually fenced and equipped with advanced lighting for optimal play and cameras for match review and player improvement.
Beyond the courts, Jersey Pickleball Club will have four social spaces for tenants and visitors that can accommodate gatherings, parties and corporate events, according to a news release. Bell Works will also unveil a dedicated stairway and adjacent social area with glass partitions overlooking the courts, creating a seamless connection between play and community.
“The opening of Jersey Pickleball Club’s first location in Bell Works Holmdel is an exciting milestone for us as we continue building a place where work, culture and community converge,” said Ralph Zucker, founder and CEO of Inspired by Somerset Development. “Pickleball naturally reflects that spirit, bringing people together through play. We’re eager to introduce a new amenity to our tenants, while giving the broader community another reason to experience Bell Works.”
Jersey Pickleball Club offers everything from memberships to flexible packages for individuals, families and corporate groups, the news release said. Designed for all skill levels, the club features one-on-one and group instruction for beginners through advanced players, while members can also participate in leagues, tournaments, special events, social gatherings, themed nights and charity tournaments throughout the year.
“Joining Bell Works Holmdel is the perfect opportunity to bring this thriving sport to an already vibrant and lively community,” said Stephen Rice, cofounder of Jersey Pickleball Club. “With state-of-the-art courts, advanced technology and programming for all skill levels, we’re offering something truly unique for players, visitors and tenants alike.”
Jersey Pickleball Club at Bell Works Holmdel will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., the news release said. Individual memberships start at $60 per month or $500 annually, with additional options for couples, families and corporate groups.
