JLL has expanded its office leasing team in southern New Jersey with the addition of a new executive vice president.
Based in the firm’s Cherry Hill office, Chris Henderson is responsible for overseeing the growth and expansion of its agency leasing and tenant representation services in South Jersey. He comes to JLL after seven years at Wolf Commercial Real Estate, where he most recently was a principal and vice president.
“I look forward to this next chapter with JLL,” Henderson said. “The Cherry Hill team is strong, and I’m excited to accelerate their already outstanding work and expertise in the market.”
In announcing the new hire, JLL said Henderson has completed nearly 200 sale and lease transactions totaling more than 1 million square feet. He has generated more than $100 million dollars in total real estate sales, the firm said, noting that he excelled in the retail and flex asset industries while at WCRE.
Henderson earned a bachelor of applied science in marketing and international studies from Rowan University, according to a news release. He also played professional baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ organization from 2009 through 2013.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Chris to the Cherry Hill team,” JLL Chief Operating Officer Tony Juliano said. “His deep market knowledge, hustle and ability to foster relationships with clients makes him the ideal team member.”
Henderson has also gained recognition in the business community. Among other honors, he was included in last year’s South Jersey Biz 20 Under 40 Awards.
“Chris is going to fit in wonderfully with the culture at JLL Philadelphia,” said Mike Morrone, the firm’s Philadelphia market lead. “Chris brings a unique blend of personality, work ethic, and intelligence that he will leverage with JLL’s full-service delivery platform, providing incredible end-to-end service to his clients.”
