A developer is marking the grand opening of what it says is the first luxury apartment building in the Bergen County community of Bergenfield.
The firm, Hornrock Properties, recently launched leasing at the 62-unit property known as Bella at Bergenfield. Executives say the building at 15 West Johnson Ave. is now drawing interest from residents of nearby Teaneck, Dumont, New Milford and Hackensack, especially those seeking to upgrade from older apartment buildings.
“Our residents enjoy the conveniences and luxuries of high-end living without sacrificing space and comfort,” said David Hornblass, partner of Hornrock Properties. “Our goal was to include all that while providing the style and warmth that only a boutique building can provide.
“Our goal was to build an upscale hub for health care workers, commuters, community members and everyone in between.”
Bella at Bergenfield includes a mix of upscale one- and two-bedroom apartments, with monthly rents starting at $1,985. The property also offers amenities such as a modern fitness center, a large roof deck with outdoor dining and lounge spaces and a work-from-home area.
Hornrock also noted that Bella is within walking distance of restaurants, stores and parks and minutes of express bus service to Manhattan. Residents are also a short drive from major highways such as routes 4 and 17, Interstate 80 and the Garden State Parkway and 15 minutes from the George Washington Bridge.
Builder Marketing Services is the property’s leasing and marketing agent.
“Bella at Bergenfield is a one-of-a-kind accommodation in one of New Jersey’s most desirable neighborhoods near Manhattan,” said Maurice Hornblass, another principal with the firm. “We wanted to deliver the best in location, design, convenience. We are very proud of what we delivered.”
