An automobile finance provider is relocating within Paramus after signing a 14,000-square-foot lease at a soon-to-be-upgraded office building, brokers with JLL announced.
The tenant, AmeriCredit Financial Services Inc., is moving to 15 East Midland Ave. under a long-term transaction with Onyx Equities LLC. The company is moving from 650 From Road and will occupy a portion of the third floor at the 260,382-square-foot building.
JLL Executive Managing Director Frank D. Recine represented AmeriCredit, while Onyx Equities Senior Vice President Adam Karafiol represented ownership in-house.
“AmeriCredit Financial considered many other options for office space throughout Bergen County,” Recine said. “In the end, company executives chose 15 East Midland Avenue due to the common area capital renovation plan and the buildings proximity to highway access and local amenities.”
AmeriCredit Financial is the latest tenant at 15 East Midland Ave., which sits at the Route 17 intersection in Paramus. Onyx acquired the five-story, 31-year-old building in 2017 and is in the midst of a capital improvement project to enhance the building.
