A data backup and restoration provider is doubling its footprint in Englewood Cliffs, where it’s set to occupy 60,000 square feet within a four-building office complex.
The tenant, OwnBackup Ltd., has completed a 30,000-square-foot lease expansion and extension at 940 Sylvan Ave., under a newly announced transaction by JLL. It will now fully occupy the building within the Sylvan Corporate Center, which is owned by Andalex.
JLL Executive Managing Director Frank D. Recine and Associate Nicolas DeCotiis represented ownership. Savills Senior Managing Director Jason Fray and Senior Vice President Harlan Hollander represented OwnBackup.

OwnBackup, which previously occupied the full first floor of 940 Sylvan Ave., has been a tenant at the complex since 2018, JLL said. The site provides the cloud-based data backup and restore provider with direct access to the Palisades Parkway and proximity to the George Washington Bridge, interstates 80 and 95 and other major highways.
Located near the intersection of Sage Road, Sylvan Corporate Center comprises four two-story office buildings at 910, 920, 930 and 940 Sylvan Ave., which are linked by a central lobby. JLL noted that the complex offers on-site food service, covered parking, private parking and on-site management, as well as modern telecommunications infrastructure.
