A health care company is consolidating into a new location after agreeing to lease more than 17,000 square feet of office space in Florham Park, according to brokers with JLL.
The tenant, Option Care Health, is a provider of home infusion therapy services that was formed by a recent merger of BioScrip and Option Care, JLL said. The company sought to consolidate two expiring leases into a new regional compounding center, opting to do so at 6 Vreeland Road.
Its new space, which totals 17,265 square feet, is part of a 58,000-square-foot office property near Columbia Turnpike and Route 10, the brokerage team said, noting that the facility meets its technical needs while also accommodating employee commutation patterns.
“By fully engaging with the tenant’s architect, engineering and account team we were able to identify ideal locations that would meet all of Option Care’s operational needs,” said Peter Ladas, a senior vice president with JLL. “A favorable rental structure and extensive tenant improvement allowance enabled us to accommodate the company’s unique technical and office space needs in an ideal location.”
Ladas represented the tenant alongside Chris Conklin, also a senior vice president. Al Gerado of Troy Corp., the landlord, represented ownership. In announcing the deal, JLL noted that the single-story flex building has loading dock access, 18-foot clear ceiling heights and 77 surface-level parking spaces.
It’s also minutes from interstates 287 and 280 and the Madison and Chatham NJ Transit stations.
