JMF Properties has marked the opening of more than 200 new luxury apartments in Plainfield, joining local officials to hail the latest addition to the city’s housing stock.
The property, known as Quin Sleepy Hollow, has brought 212 units and more than 10,000 square feet of high-end amenity space to 1400 South Ave. Leasing is already well underway at what is the largest residential development ever in Plainfield.
“It’s a pleasure to see this vision become a reality,” Plainfield Mayor Adrian O. Mapp said. “Plainfield has waited a long time for the resurgence we see taking place all across our city, and we are ready to move on to the next chapter. I’d like to thank JMF Properties and Joe Forgione for being responsible partners, and for recognizing the tremendous potential that we have in the Queen City. They have created a modern, luxurious, high quality offering that will become home for many and I am eager to see all the apartments filled.”
Located between two train stations on NJ Transit’s Raritan Valley train line, Quin Sleepy Hollow also benefits from a host of bus lines and easy access to Route 22, Interstate 78 and other highways. Layouts for one-bedroom floorplans start in the low $1,800s, while two-bedroom layouts range from the low $2,200s and to the high $2,900s.
Apartments feature high-end finishes and appliances, with options for dens, private garage parking and resident storage, JMF said. Amenities include a resident lounge with billiards, library, a theater and screening room, business center and fitness center, among others, along with an outdoor lounge with double-sided fireplace, courtyard seating area, grills and a bicycle library.
“We are proud to introduce an exciting new residential option to the City of Plainfield and the beautiful Sleepy Hollow neighborhood,” said Joseph M. Forgione, founder and principal of JMF Properties. “We designed Quin Sleepy Hollow to offer renters not only an attractive place to live, but an entire lifestyle experience.
“This community combines modern, city-style living with upscale amenities and an appealing suburban location. We had a vision for this property from day one and we’d like to thank Mayor Mapp and the City of Plainfield for working alongside us and helping us turn that vision into a reality.”
