A development team has kicked off leasing at a collection of 242 upscale apartments along Harrison’s redeveloped waterfront.
Located at Dey and Bergen streets, the new property by BNE Real Estate Group, Hornrock Properties and Canoe Brook Development features more than 45,000 square feet of amenity space to go with its studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The joint venture has debuted the building with monthly rents starting from $1,850, with up to four months free and immediate occupancy available.
“We’re excited to open the doors to Dey & Bergen which combines classic style with modern amenities and some real personality which we believe will connect with today’s residents,” said David Pantirer, a partner at BNE Real Estate Group. “Add in a great waterfront location with commuter convenience and you have the type of lifestyle that is in high demand.”
BNE recently detailed the project, whose team included interior designer Mary Cook Associates, and spaces that feature a distinctive 1950s-era design inspired by television’s “Mad Men.” Other amenities include as swimming pool overlooking the Passaic River, social and entertainment lounges, a fitness center and a co-working lounge with private offices, along with indoor and outdoor bars, two dog runs and a pet spa.
The building also provides a shuttle service to the nearby Harrison PATH station, while residents will benefit from the site’s quick access to Interstate 280 and the New Jersey Turnpike. The site is directly across the Passaic River from downtown Newark.
