The developers of a new luxury apartment building on Jersey City’s West Side are touting continued momentum after recently debuting another 68 units at the property.
Fields Grade and its partner, Blumberg & Freilich Equities, say the second phase at The Agnes is now 75 percent leased. The milestone comes less than two months after the property’s newest rentals hit the market, following a 145-unit first phase that leased up in under five months, in a sign that residents want to avoid the congestion of downtown urban centers while staying close to all that they have to offer.
To that end, the building at 132 Yale Ave. provides renters with quick access to downtown Jersey City via the nearby Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, while the landlords provide complimentary shuttle service to the Journal Square PATH station.
“The West Side is broadening its appeal in Jersey City’s rental market by offering affordable luxury apartments in a vibrant urban neighborhood,” said Greg Russo, a principal with Fields Grade. “The Agnes has effectively tapped into the large pool of renters who are now turning their attention to this once-hidden residential treasure by offering attractively priced, upscale homes in a well-amenitized building in a location near a dynamic mix of restaurants, retail shops and cafés with great access to downtown Jersey City, Manhattan, and business and entertainment centers heading west.”
Monthly rents at The Agnes start from $1,765, with grand opening incentives. The developers are working alongside The Marketing Directors to draw residents to the collection of high-end apartments, which has floorplans ranging from studios to three bedrooms.
The property also has more than 10,000 square feet of amenity space, including an outdoor pool and landscaped courtyard and indoor options such as a club room, public and private workspaces, a lounge and a modern fitness center. Outside the property, renters are minutes from a host of eateries, retailers and recreation spaces such as the 273-acre Lincoln Park.
