Advance Realty Investors has welcomed a new restaurant to The Wyldes, its latest luxury apartment building in Harrison, touting it as a hub for elevated American comfort food and an all-day dining destination in the town’s growing Riverbend District.
Known as Keepers, the eatery is a collaboration between the developer and Episcope Hospitality, a group led by David Morton of the renowned Morton’s Steakhouse family. It’s now open at the base of the 399-unit property at 1100 South 5th St., where it’s poised to draw from the adjacent Sports Illustrated Stadium and the thousands of other apartments that have been built in Harrison in recent years.
Patrons will be able to choose from a menu that includes a hot honey chicken sandwich, steak frites, soft pretzel bites and a classic wedge salad, plus craft cocktails and a curated list of beer and wine, according to a news release. In the mornings, Keepers’ retro coffee window serves breakfast offerings such as coffee, pastries and grab-and-go items tailored for commuters.
“Keepers is designed to be more than just a restaurant. It’s where the neighborhood connects,” Episcope Hospitality’s Daniel Orrison said. “Our location next to Sports Illustrated Stadium, and our partnership with Advance Realty, allow us to create a place where people come together, whether for pregame meals, post-work cocktails or a catch-up with friends.”
The operators added that the space includes an upscale bar, a dining room and a private event space for up to 50 guests, while the name is both an homage to the goalkeeper and reminder of something or someone worth holding onto.
Designed by MHS Architecture and built by March Associates Construction, The Wyldes is a collection of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes 10 miles from New York City. Amenities include 45,000 square feet of outdoor green space such as landscaped courtyards with an infinity-edge pool, a sun deck, firepits, a bar with TVs, grills, outdoor dining areas, games and a screening area.
The building opened in 2023, marking the latest addition to Advance’s Riverbend District near the Harrison PATH station. The firm’s earlier projects in the town have included Steel Works, a 286-unit property completed in 2017, and Cobalt Lofts, which added another 280 units to the district about a year and a half later.
“Keepers represents the next step in our vision to make the Riverbend District a true destination for both residents and visitors,” said Dan Cocoziello, principal and chief operating officer of Advance Realty Investors. “With Episcope Hospitality as our partner, we’re delivering a standout culinary experience that elevates the neighborhood and enhances the community we’re building in Harrison and beyond.”
