Keystone Property Group has tapped Colliers International to oversee leasing for a newly upgraded office building in Fair Lawn, the real estate services firm said Friday.
In a news release, Colliers said it was named leasing agent for Keystone’s 150,447-square-foot property at 1717 Route 208. The firm’s Parsippany-based team of Samuel Horowitz and Michael Tesser are handling the assignment.
Keystone Property Group, which acquired the building in 2014, recently completed a multimillion-dollar capital investment program at the Class A property, according to a news release. The three-story building now has a new parking lot, landscape enhancements, a new roof, a new 24-hour Vibe Grab & Go Café and other enhancements.
“We look forward to deepening our relationship with Keystone,” Horowitz said in a prepared statement. “Their responsiveness is evidence of their commitment to ensuring that 1717 Route 208 continues to meet the needs of contemporary office tenants seeking a desirable location with outstanding on-site amenities.”
The landlord also modernized the building’s elevators, lobby, common areas and restrooms, while creating a new multipurpose conference and training center, the news release said. The property, which is minutes from routes 4 and 17, is directly adjacent to the Fair Lawn Promenade, a mixed-use village-style project with about 60,000 square feet of retail along with 150 residential units in an upscale walkable town center environment.
“Keystone’s significant investment has transformed this into a true value-add, amenity-based Class A property in Bergen County’s prestigious corporate community,” Tesser said in a prepared statement.
The building is home to companies including Arcadis, Hunter Group CPA and Paychex Inc.
“Today’s companies are seeking not just a place to do business, but a venue that will help them attract and retain the best and brightest employees,” said Tom Sklow, vice president of development and leasing for Keystone Property Group. “With our large-scale improvements, this building is now complete with a suite of first-class amenities that will enable tenants to create an environment unparalleled in today’s office market.”
