The Kislak Co. Inc. has announced four promotions among its team of brokers.
The firm, which is based in Woodbridge, said it has promoted Barry Waisbrod to executive vice president. He joined Kislak in 2001 and is consistently among the firm’s leading salespeople, specializing in the sale of investment properties in and around New Jersey.
The historic brokerage has also elevated Justin Lupo to senior vice president, according to a news release. He joined Kislak in 2014 and has become one of the firm’s leading salespeople, with transactions totaling $400 million and a focus on multifamily and other investment property sales in central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
Meantime, Kislak promoted both Michael Kossak and Thomas Scatuorchio to vice president, the news release said. Both joined the firm in 2016, with Kossak focusing on investment sales in Essex County and Scatuorchio specializing in the sale of multifamily and other properties in Morris and Essex counties.
Kislak announced the promotions during its recent virtual 2020 sales awards, where it bestowed honors including Producer of the Year to Vice President Matt Wolf. The honor follows a year in which Wolf, who joined the firm in 2017, closed several multifamily sales in Pennsylvania valued at nearly $100 million and including more than 1,100 units.
Meantime, Lupo received the Sima Kislak Jelin Salesperson of the Year award, which recognizes performance and professionalism. The firm also presented Executive Vice President Peter Wisniewski with the Transactions award, following a year in which he closed more than 30 lease and sales transactions in New Jersey, including the sale of seven acres for warehouse development at the Flemington Trade Center in Flemington, among others.
It marked the fourth consecutive year that Wisniewski received the Transactions award.
“2020 was an extraordinarily challenging year in many respects yet we were fortunate to end the year strongly,” said Robert Holland, Kislak’s president. “Our awards recipients along with many other members of our sales team rose to the challenges we faced, persevered and closed many impressive deals throughout a volatile year.”
