A private apartment owner has added 29 units to its portfolio in New York’s Rockland County, in a newly announced deal by The Kislak Co. Inc.
The firm’s Gregory Koenig represented both parties in the off-market transaction at 15 West Funston Ave. in Spring Valley. He noted that the three-story brick garden-style building, which traded for $3.4 million, includes 19 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom apartments in a location that’s five miles north of the New Jersey border and 22 miles north of Manhattan.
TD Bank provided financing.
“The purchaser owns nearby and was eager to add this property to his portfolio,” said Koening, a sales associate with Woodbridge-based Kislak. “The sale represents an exceptional performance by him in an especially challenging market.”
