A vision care and surgery center has expanded at a Cherry Hill office park, where it now occupies nearly 10,000 square feet under a deal with Diversified Management Plus.
The practice, Kremer Eye Center, has relocated to 1820 Chapel Ave. West from an adjacent building as part of its newest long-term lease at Commerce Center, according to a news release. Its new 9,755-square-foot space includes surgical suites, exam rooms and administrative offices, while maintaining the center’s location less than 10 miles east of Philadelphia.
DMP is the asset manager of the three-building, 153,000-square-foot property just off Route 38 at the intersection of Chapel Avenue West and Haddonfield Road. Newmark’s Anne Klein, executive managing director, is Commerce Center’s leasing agent.
“Kremer Eye Center’s recommitment and expansion at Commerce Center underscores this campus’ accessibility and its ability to accommodate specialized tenant needs, including medical,” said DMP’s Bill Klein, vice president of operations. “Kremer Eye Center has been part of this campus for more than a decade, and it is always gratifying to support our tenants as their needs evolve.”
Occupants at the property have access to a fitness center, shared conference space and ample parking, the news release said. They’re also within a mile of two large-scale retail centers.
In announcing the deal, DMP noted that Commerce Center boasts recent upgrades such as new roofs with solar panels on all three buildings. It’s also planning a renovation this year that will incorporate expanded outdoor gathering spaces, including seating and tables, along with improvements such as new monument signage on Haddonfield Road.
Other tenants at the complex include Cranial Technologies, Lincoln Financial and a diverse mix of businesses and service providers.
