Kushner Cos. has retained JLL as its leasing agent for the nearly 160,000-square-foot office building in Florham Park that has long served as its home base in New Jersey.
Built in 2001 as the real estate firm’s then-headquarters, the three-story property at 18 Columbia Turnpike is home to multiple tenants. The brokerage team is now marketing available space at the building including 27,840 square feet on the third floor, with the ability to accommodate requirements up to 80,000 square feet.
JLL Managing Director Blake Goodman, Senior Vice President Kelsey Nakamura and Associate Vice President Matt Loughlin are leading the assignment at the 159,058-square-foot building, which is minutes from Morristown, Livingston and Summit and highways such as Route 24.
“18 Columbia Turnpike’s central location in Florham Park has always been key to its appeal,” said Ira Bloom, director of commercial real estate for Kushner. “JLL’s local market knowledge and extensive service platform will provide enhanced reach into the tenant market as we extend our proactive leasing and retention program, and we are excited to welcome them on board.”
Part of a three-building corporate campus developed by Kushner, the building has an on-site cafeteria, an outdoor patio, a fitness center, on-site management and executive covered parking, according to a news release. It’s also a short drive from the Livingston Mall, the Mall at Short Hills and a selection of restaurants, retail, banking and hotels in downtown Florham Park.
Tenants, meantime, also have easy access to Route 10 and Interstate 287, among other highways and destinations.
“18 Columbia Turnpike has maintained an exceptional tenancy thanks to its desirable location, position in the market and responsive ownership, which has always displayed astute awareness of the needs of its tenants,” Goodman said. “We are thrilled to join Kushner Companies to market and lease this distinct property offering premium, competitively priced office space for employers who prioritize their workers wellbeing.”
Other tenants at the office park include Saiber LLC, Stifel and McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia PC.
