An accounting and advisory firm has renewed its lease for nearly 20,000 square feet of office space in Cranford, in the largest of several recent deals by Signature Acquisitions.
The company, PFK O’Connor Davies, occupies 19,503 square feet at 20 Commerce Drive within Signature’s eight-building, 820,000-square-foot Parkway Commerce Center portfolio. The landlord also signed an extension with Wonder Inc., a home delivery service of precooked, ready-to-eat meals, for its 15,311-square-foot lease in Cranford, along with new commitments totaling 13,685 square feet by Pinn Realty, ECU Worldwide and U.S. Electrical Services.
Meantime, Signature signed a renewal and expansion for 4,439 square feet with Alvino, an artificial intelligence software company that serves container terminals, at 100 Matawan Road in Matawan. Also renewing at the property was Rossow, a specialty cosmetics company, which occupies 1,750 square feet at the recently updated, 132,655-square-foot building.
The firm said its leasing activity at Parkway Commerce Center and 100 Matawan Road totals 63,000 square feet in the last five months.
“The office space market has been a highly debated topic within the industry over the past couple of years,” said Sandy Monaghan, a senior vice president and director of leasing at Signature Acquisitions. “However, our consistent activity over that time has shown that employers are continuing to search for new space or renew their commitments to their current spaces. Because of this, we continue to have tremendous confidence in our portfolio and its ability to meet the evolving expectations of today’s workforce.”
