A manufacturing company has acquired a 30,000-square-foot industrial building in Woodbridge, in a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
Brokers with the firm represented Nest Scientific USA Inc., a maker of laboratory plastics, in its purchase of 3 Convery Blvd. from ELKH Associates Limited Partnership. Previously based in Rahway, the buyer’s growth prompted it to look for a larger space that was accessible for the company’s employee base and to the region’s key transportation corridors, NAI Hanson said, allowing it to efficiently store and distribute its products.
NAI Hanson’s Randy Horning and Darren Lizzack completed the assignment.
“Our regional industrial market continues to be one of the nation’s most competitive and presents significant challenges to companies searching for space,” Lizzack said in a prepared statement. “However, our local experience and network of real estate, legal, financial, and other professionals allow our team to not only recognize opportunities in this market but ensure our clients put forth the best possible offer.”
Located on heavily traveled Route 35, the property boasts easy access to Route 9, the New Jersey Turnpike and public transportation options, NAI Hanson said.
“Randy and Darren are a great team to work with,” said Jie Wu Pan, vice president of operations at Nest Scientific USA. “They are very experienced and well-connected, which is extremely helpful to a small company like us. They stay on top of the closing schedule and made sure everything was taken care of.”
Nest Scientific’s products include laboratory plastics for applications in hospitals, research communities and industrial and clinical laboratories.
