A landscape design and maintenance firm has purchased a mixed-use property in Tewksbury that will provide new space for its growing business, in a deal arranged by NAI James E. Hanson.
The business, Outdoor Digs, paid an undisclosed amount for the 10.78-acre site in the township’s Oldwick section. Located at 152 Oldwick Road, the property is home to a 7,445-square-foot office building with two apartments on the lower level, along with 48 approved parking spaces and a garage across two lots zoned for outdoor commercial storage.
NAI Hanson’s Sig Schorr represented the seller, Sblendorio Tewksbury Holding LLC, and the buyer. He noted that the parcel was formerly home to a high-end landscaping company, which opted to sell when its clientele shifted farther east and north.
“The outdoor storage sector continues to see tremendous demand from not only e-commerce distributors but professional services companies like landscapers that require well-located, secure and adaptable storage for their equipment,” Schorr said. “Leveraging my market expertise, I was able to work with both the buyer and seller to negotiate a deal that allows each to achieve their unique business goals at this property.”
Schorr said the property, which sits a half-mile from Interstate 78, will support Outdoor Digs’ rapid growth, providing easy access to customers throughout the area and space to house its landscaping equipment and service vehicles.
