Larken Associates has announced a renewal with a tenant at a 90,000-square-foot office building along Route 22 in Somerset County.
The occupier, Kinedyne LLC, occupies 6,371 square feet at what’s known as Branchburg Centre at 3040 Route 22 West in Branchburg. Larken said the cargo securement and cargo control company has been a tenant at the property since 2016, a year before the landlord purchased and launched a series of renovations at the building.
“Despite the overall strength of the Somerset County office market, modern and meticulously managed office buildings continue to see the highest demand from tenants,” said Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates. “This latest renewal showcases how strategic investments and improvements can create premier office buildings within this market capable of attracting and retaining dynamic and growing businesses like Kinedyne. We are thrilled that Kinedyne has chosen to continue to grow at Branchburg Centre and we look forward to building upon our relationship in the years to come.”
Upgrades at Branchburg Centre include new LED lighting, contemporary glass walls and an updated lobby, cafeteria and lounge, along with an overhaul of interior furnishings and exterior ornamentation, according to news release. Larken Associates also plans to build an additional 19,000-square-foot professional and medical office building, capitalizing on the site’s access to routes 28, 31, 202 and 206 and interstates 78 and 287.
