Larken Associates has unveiled a new office space in Branchburg for its growing in-house construction team.
The 4,300-square-foot space, located at the firm’s headquarters at 1250 Route 28, will support the ongoing expansion of its Core Enterprises division, which also provides third-party construction services. That team includes project managers, project supervisors, carpenters, interior designers, estimators and other professionals who were previously housed within Larken’s main office.
They will now work out of a third-floor suite, which will also serve as a showroom for prospective clients that features a contemporary design, modern fixtures and furniture and the latest advances in commercial lighting.
“Core Enterprises’ success has always been defined by a focus on attracting top construction and design talent and then providing them with an environment that fosters collaboration, efficiency and creative problem solving,” said Lenny Tartamella, chief operating officer of Larken Associates. “With Core’s continued growth, we knew that creating a dedicated space that is modern and well-designed to serve as the company’s headquarters would be vital in their continued ability to execute Larken Associates’ expanding development pipeline, tenant buildouts and Core’s growing portfolio of third-party work.”

Established in 2010, Core Enterprises works in asset classes including multifamily, mixed-use, single-family, industrial, office, storage and retail, Larken said. Its new home is meant to accommodate a growing, modern construction team with a layout focused on increasing collaboration, productivity and flexibility.
Larken has also built the space with an eye toward post-pandemic office design, according to a news release. That means six-foot-wide hallways, workstations separated by glass partitions and a wellness room, among other features.
The firm noted that Core Enterprises is currently overseeing construction on its growing pipeline of multifamily projects across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which spans more than 1,000 units in locations such as Lopatcong, Bordentown, Readington, Hillsborough and York, Pennsylvania.
The group also provides construction support for Larken Associates’ 3 million-square-foot commercial portfolio and third-party assignments outside the firm’s portfolio.
