Onyx Equities has bolstered its asset management team with the hiring of a new senior vice president of office leasing.
The Woodbridge-based firm announced that Trent Taylor has joined the firm and will oversee a segment of its office portfolio. Prior to joining Onyx, he served as vice president of commercial real estate for the KABR Group, where he was responsible for asset management, leasing and construction across the company’s four value-add funds.
Taylor began his asset management career in 2007 with The Hampshire Cos., serving as an analyst, Onyx said in a news release. He later focused on portfolio management for the firm’s varied asset class private equity fund.
Taylor holds a master’s degree in real estate development from New York University. He is also a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a dual degree in accounting and finance.
