Genova Burns LLC has announced two additions to its litigation team that it expects will support clients in construction and other industries.
According to the Newark-based firm, Brandon B. Rosen joins its team with a specialization in commercial litigation, real estate litigation and general liability matters. He has represented clients ranging from small business owners to Fortune 500 companies and most recently practiced at a New York-based law firm, participating in cases ranging from construction to products liability matters.
Genova Burns added that Rosen has practiced extensively in both New York and New Jersey courts. His experience also includes a judicial externship for New York City Civil Court Judge Devin P. Cohen and a post-graduate internship for U.S. District Court Judge Douglas E. Alpert in New Jersey.
Meantime, Daniel A. Lebersfeld joins the firm as a senior associate, specializing in diverse areas of litigation in the commercial, insurance and real estate sectors and in intellectual property matters, according to a news release. His clients have also ranged from Fortune 500 corporations to small family businesses.
One of Lebersfeld’s notable achievements includes the successful defense of a chief financial officer of a publicly traded company against a breach of guaranty claim, simultaneously prevailing on counterclaims for breach of employment agreement and indemnification on appeal, the news release said. His expertise also extends to securing dismissals in high-stakes cases, such as Salesmark Ventures LLC v. Singh, involving personal liability claims against a CEO in the Commercial Division of the New York County Supreme Court.
“Genova Burns LLC is thrilled to welcome Daniel A. Lebersfeld, Esq., and Brandon B. Rosen, Esq. to its esteemed litigation team, further enhancing the firm’s ability to deliver exceptional legal services to clients in New York and New Jersey state and federal courts,” the firm said.
