Nine tenants have combined to lease nearly 33,000 square feet of office space in Jersey City’s Newport section, in a series of newly announced deals by CBRE.
Brokers with the firm represented LeFrak, the landlord and developer of the acclaimed waterfront neighborhood, in the transactions at multiple buildings, according to a news release. The deals include seven commitments at 111 Town Square Place by AnGes, Profectus Beauty, GTD Solutions, Xeneta, Lotto.com, Open Vault and PlayStar Gaming, plus two medical office leases at 100 Town Square Place with Everside Health and RMA.
Marylou Berk, Ray Kawas and Julie Prykull led the Lefrak team, working alongside CBRE’s Howard Fiddle, Greg Barkan, Erin Wenzler, Gregg Rothkin and Caroline Merck.
“100 and 111 Town Square Place are exceptional locations serving the needs of global and Fortune 500 tenants,” Fiddle said. “The newest leases at the Newport Center office complex signify the comeback of the office market as tenants make definitive decisions about their real estate requirements.”
CBRE announced the deals Thursday, noting that LeFrak has created a tenant amenity center on the 11th floor of 111 Town Square Place that includes a lounge and conference center. The new transactions at the property were part of a prebuild campaign launched a year ago, in which the landlord designed suites with modern, attractive finishes including polished concrete floors, exposed high ceilings and natural light, glass-front interior offices and conference rooms and high-end pantries.
The team is now developing comparable suites on the fourth floor of 111 Town Square Place and eighth floor of 499 Washington Blvd., the news release said. Both are slated for completion in summer 2022.
The newest tenants at 100 Town Square Place, Everside Health and RMA, are taking 3,453 and 5,167 square feet, respectively.
