A property owner in Lawrence Township has secured a $2 million loan for a plan to build a new restaurant in the town, in a deal arranged by Lenders Capital Realty Services.
In a news release, the advisory team said Fulton Bank provided the financing to Gary Hullfish and Kate Pollack of Hullfish Real Estate Co LLC. The loan term is five years, Lenders Capital said, noting that it’s backed by 15 buildings in the municipality’s Lawrenceville section.
“It was great to work with Lenders Capital on this assignment,” said Pollack, managing director of Hullfish Real Estate. “We look forward to using the loan proceeds to develop ‘Marmalade,’ a 60-seat restaurant and kitchen supporting renowned entrepreneur Joanne Canady-Brown of ‘The Gingered Peach.’”
George Gnad, managing director of Lenders Capital, added: “It was a pleasure to work with Kate to secure this loan. Marmalade will be a fantastic addition to the neighborhood and will enhance the value of the Hullfish portfolio. This project was envisioned by Kate’s dearly departed mom Lisa Hullfish, which made closing this loan particularly meaningful for my partners, Helmut Fischer and Matthew Gnad.”
