Bennett Realty & Development has added Howard Levy and Benjamin Halpern to its team of brokers focused on shopping centers and single-tenant, net-leased assets.
The firm, which is based in Holmdel, said Levy will serve as a managing director after spending four years with Marcus & Millichap’s Philadelphia office, where he closed 20 transactions with a cumulative purchase price of more than $150 million. Prior to that, he was vice president and chief operating officer of Philadelphia-based EBL & S, Inc., overseeing the strategy and implementation of the leasing and property management groups, the development and construction division and land use and entitlement efforts.
Halpern, meantime, is an associate with Bennett Realty, having graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a dual major in finance and real estate, according to a news release. He advises and assists private investors in all aspects of single- and multitenant investment transactions across various tenant types, but has carved out a niche in Northeast Pennsylvania.
Levy and Halpern worked closely together as members of the national retail group and net leased properties group while at Marcus & Millichap, the news release said. The Pennsylvania residents will now focus on the creation and execution of Bennett Realty’s shopping center sales platform and on single-tenant, net-leased transactions.
“Our culture and unique platform continue to attract top talent,” said Tyler Bennett, CEO of Bennett Realty. “Attracting talent like Howard and Ben is humbling and exciting for our us. I know both will add value to their clients, uphold the values of our company, and assist with continued growth.”
